• Initial Cleansing: Laura Spluf is an agricultural product made in the field, therefore it is recommended to clean the sponge before first use.
• Cleansing methods: You can clean the loofah in the washing machine or dishwasher, wet in the oven or microwave, by soaking in vinegar, boiling water or simply wash it with soap and rinse thoroughly with water.
• Recommended replacement: The Cleveland Clinic recommends replacing your loofah every three to four weeks. Be sure to rinse it after each use. Let it dry completely, preferably not in hot, humid conditions, and store it in a dry place.
• Personal Use: The sponge should not be used from one person to another in the shower (becoming a vehicle for any pathogens).
